A couple of months ago I wrote a post about the uprising in Nicaragua. Several of us at Westheights have been to Nicaragua on short-term missions trips and have formed significant relationships there. We want to continue to pray for this situation and for the BIC Nicaraguan Church as they navigate these difficult times.
Recently, Doug Sider (Executive Director at Be In Christ Church of Canada) and Trevor Main (Area Director for Central/South America) travelled to Nicaragua. Their purpose was to listen to our sisters and brothers in Nicaragua, to encourage them and to affirm with them that, while we are at a distance, they are not alone. Read about their visit here.
