40th Anniversary Celebration – Birthday Party

Didn’t we have fun at Westheights Church’s 40th birthday party this past Sunday? We saw a photo montage about the start of the first Brethren in Christ Church in Kitchener, Pastor Josh Mutter gave an encouraging and inspiring message about our role in the Forest Heights neighbourhood, we sang happy birthday to the church, we took our first ever family photo (thanks to Sparky the drone), we ate pizza and cake, wrote postcards to the future Westheights Church in 2028 (for our 50th anniversary!), and finally we hung out as a family – talking, laughing, taking pictures, having our faces painted, and playing! Whew!

It was a fantastic celebration of 40 years of Westheights Church ministry!
