This weekend we enter into the Advent season. Do you ever feel the tension between the desire for a peaceful, meaningful Christmas and a world of chaos? Where the bad guys are winning, where God is absent, and where ordinary people are being beaten down? This is not unlike the world that Jesus entered that first Christmas. But the Christmas story is the story of God, once again, calming the chaos and bringing something new into being. Jesus invades our chaos with the Kingdom – a Kingdom of hope, light, joy and peace. This Sunday, Pastor Josh begins a new message series about exploring how Jesus crashes our chaos and brings something better.
