We’re excited to share a couple of powerful new worship songs for Easter this Sunday and invite you to check them out ahead of time to help them be even more meaningful for you during the service.
Living Hope is a recent song by Phil Wickham (who has also written At Your Name and This is Amazing Grace) and includes the wonderful Easter-themed lyrics:
Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
The other new song, Is He Worthy?, is unique in that part of it is sung responsively by the worship leader and the congregation. It asks deep and meaningful questions which find their ultimate answer in Jesus, the Lion of Judah who conquered the grave.
