Since the spring, the Board of Westheights Community Church has met three times to discern where God is leading us as a church. What emerged was a renewed commitment to our mission “To help people find and follow Jesus” with a vision “To be a vibrant community of followers of Jesus which serves our neighbours by meeting needs and showing love.”
As a church Board, we envision this mission and vision being lived out by focusing on three areas:
- Growing in our relationship with Jesus.
- Growing in our relationships within our church community.
- Growing in our relationships with our neighbours.
As we begin to explore what it means to live out these areas of focus, we would appreciate your input. Your feedback will give us a sense of how we are currently doing as well as provide leadership with some ideas to consider.
