Westheights Community Church takes the health of the people who form our community and attend our gatherings very seriously. During this time of heightened concern related to the COVID-19 virus, we are taking steps to ensure the safety of all who participate in the life of our church.

We want our community to know that we are planning for all possibilities including services being cancelled. Already we have taken the steps of no longer greeting you with a handshake, are providing hand sanitizer throughout our buildings, and are having key contact points decontaminated during services (in addition to regular cleaning) to ensure the utmost safety for all those who attend our church, especially the most vulnerable. We encourage you during this time, if you have flu-like symptoms, to consider others and to stay home.

To stay in the communications loop regarding this (and so many other things), please click here to subscribe to our email list and follow us on Facebook and Instagram!

We continue to pray for those who have the virus and are suffering from its symptoms, in Canada and around the world. This is certainly a time for increased vigilance but it is also a time to declare our trust in the Lord who helps us in times of trouble. Through all of this, it is our desire to express the compassion of Christ in all we do – including as it relates to the spread of COVID-19.

If you have questions or suggestions we encourage you to call the church or be in contact with a member of the pastoral staff.
