At Westheights Community Church, we are continually monitoring the status of COVID-19.  Given the recommendations given by the World Health Organization and our own local health authorities, we have made the decision to suspend our Sunday morning services and all other planned church programs/events until further notice effective immediately.

While we may not meet in person, you are invited to join us ONLINE during this disruption each Sunday at 10:30AM, starting this Sunday, March 15, for a time of teaching and prayer on YouTube. Please subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss out on anything during this disruption!

As you can appreciate, we are still figuring out what all this means for us as a church. Please stay tuned and we will share more information/details as they become available. To stay in the communications loop regarding this (and so many other things), please click here to subscribe to our email list and follow us on Facebook and Instagram!

One of the great things about following Jesus is that Jesus is not confined to one space. Indeed, at this time let’s be reminded of God’s presence with us and that Jesus called his followers the “Light of the World”. With this in mind, I invite us to see this moment in time as an opportunity to allow the light of Christ to shine through us. Let’s be people of prayer, hope and love in a season of fear and darkness.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”

~ 2 Timothy 1:7

UPDATE: In an earlier statement, House Church groups were allowed to meet at their discretion. On March 15, we updated our response to include the suspension of in-person house church meetings until further notice.
