I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

1. FAITH DOES NOT REMOVE OUR QUESTIONS

John 11:21-22 NIV “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.”

2. JESUS INVITES US TO BELIEVE IN THE REAL MOMENTS OF LIFE

John 11:25-26 NIV Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

3. REAL FAITH IS SOMETIMES EXPRESSED THROUGH TEARS

John 11:27 NIV “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

4. JESUS FULLY ENTERS INTO THE HEARTACHE OF THE MOMENT

John 11:35 NIV Jesus wept.

5. JESUS INVITES US TO SEE THAT HE IS ABLE TO DO WHAT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE

Ephesians 3:20 NIV Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us …

“Jesus is inviting us to know Him as the one through whom we experience the beauty and newness that God brings.”
