This chapter shows us the type of character that pleases God, reminding us of God’s presence, kindness, and heart for the vulnerable. GOD’S PRESENCE AND KINDNESS
– There is more to our story than what we see.
Reflection Question: How is God working through me to bring hope to others?
GOD’S HEART FOR THE VULNERABLE
– Power and resources are things that we can use in a selfish fashion or in a way that shows kindness to others.
– To understand God’s heart for the vulnerable is to do more than the bare minimum.
– To understand God’s heart is to use our position to provide protection for those whose safety is threatened.
Reflection Question: How will I use whatever wealth, power and influence I have to help others?
