Happy Friday, Westheights! I have an idea that I want to pass along this week. With the warmth of summer here and with gatherings of up to 10 being permitted (following physical distancing guidelines), this is a great opportunity for you to use that contact list we sent out a month ago and arrange for an outdoor visit with some Westheights friends you haven’t seen in a while! If you didn’t get our contact list, please request it via email from office@westheights.org.
Here are a few other things I want to mention:
1. Send us a picture of your grad
It’s the season of graduations and we want to celebrate our 2020 grads. It doesn’t matter what kind of grad you are, we want to celebrate with you. Send us your grad pictures to joshmutter@westheights.org by Wednesday so we can honour our grads next Sunday!
2. Westheights Virtual Food Drive
We have a few days remaining in our Virtual Food Drive in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. To donate: https://www.thefoodbank.ca/westheightschurch/
3. Virtual Foyer
This Sunday we are once again having a virtual foyer by using Zoom so that we can see and say “hi” to one another after the service. To join in right after this Sunday’s service, simply click this link. If you aren’t set up with Zoom yet, we recommend that you click on the link and set things up before Sunday.
