Dear Church Family,
On Sunday I shared with our church family that Mimi Lee has decided to step down from her role as our Administrator as of August 31, 2020. Mimi has faithfully served as our Administrator for nearly 21 years and feels that God is calling her out of this role so that she can volunteer her time in other areas.
The good news is that while Mimi will no longer be our Administrator, we are not losing her (or her family). Westheights will continue to be their church home!
While we will not be able to simply “replace” Mimi, I do believe that we have the in-house ability to cover many of Mimi’s duties at the moment as we figure out what comes next. The email address office@westhights.org and the general church voicemail will continue to be monitored.
If you have other questions about this transition, please feel free to speak to me.
At a later point, we will find a time to properly say thank-you to Mimi for all she has done in the life of Westheights. But for now I will simply say to Mimi that we are grateful for the many, many, many ways that you have contributed to our church community. Your organization, dedication, hard work, sense of humour and out of the box thinking have helped shape Westheights Community Church. We love you and we are wishing you the best. Thank you.
