Happy Friday, Westheights!

The practice of thankfulness is important. It is good for our minds, our souls and perhaps even our physical bodies too. No doubt this Thanksgiving weekend will have a different feel to it. But none-the-less, we are still encouraged to take some time to reflect on what we have to be thankful for.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

– 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Resources Mentioned in the Sermon

This week Josh will refer to two different resources you may want to check out. The first is an app called Presently that will prompt you to record what you are thankful for. The second is an invitation to a 5-day devotional called Practicing Gratitude. We hope you find these resources helpful.

In Case You Missed it!

In case you missed it, this week the Board made the difficult decision to not proceed with resuming in-person Sunday gatherings this week. You can read the letter here.

Virtual Foyer

This Sunday we are once again having a virtual foyer by using Zoom so that we can see and say ‘hi” to one another after the service. To join in right after this Sunday’s service, simply click this link. If you aren’t set up with Zoom yet, we recommend that you click on the link and set things up before Sunday.

FINALLY…
