We believe that intentional times of prayer together are important. Prayer puts us in a posture of connecting our heart with the heart of God and of paying attention to how he might move in our lives and in the lives of others. In addition to connecting with God, praying together is a discipline that connects our hearts with the hearts of others and is a way that we practice being in community together. This spring we want to grow in our practice of praying together by initiating a monthly prayer gathering that will happen following our Sunday service via Zoom.

Some Details:

  • Monthly prayer times will happen following the service on April 18, May 16, and June 13. These gatherings will be 30-40 minutes in length.
  • Our prayer time will be held online via Zoom using this link.
  • Prayer times will be facilitated by a member of the staff team.
  • Participants are invited to share what they would like prayer for. In addition, the facilitator will have some prayer items that may include current events and requests given to us by others.

In addition to this after-service prayer time, we also have a team of people who have expressed a desire to pray for others throughout the week. These are ordinary, awesome, folks just like you who receive an occasional email with a prayer request and take a moment to stop and pray. If you would like to receive these emails, please let us know by emailing office@westheights.org

If you have something that you would like prayer for, either by those who attend our after-service prayer time or by our email prayer team, please email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org.
