I hope that you’ve been enjoying beautiful weather no matter where you’ve been this past week, and it’s been amazing. It’s hard to believe it’s already midway through August, the summer is just moving along.
News Regarding Staff Changes
If you missed the announcement last week, Christina Main is stepping down as Director of Student Ministries to enable herself to commit more fully to her work as a psychotherapist. See the original blog post here or watch Pastor Josh make the announcement during last Sunday’s service here.
Westheights Students Outdoor Fiesta
Calling all Students Grade 6-12! Come to the church on Thursday, August 26 from 6:30-8:30pm for a fiesta of a time. Register for the event here. We’re not spoiling many details, but be aware you may get wet (but most likely not soaked) during the fun, so wear something you don’t mind getting a little covered with H2O.
Corn Roast – Save the Date
We are excited to announce that the Corn Roast is back in 2021! Please save Saturday September 18 @1pm for this can’t miss event (rain date is Sept 19). More details will come the first week in September.
Westheights Kids Needs Your Help!
As we plan our fall ministries, we realize we have a need for volunteers for our Kids Ministries. We can’t do it without your help, and asking for your support on Sunday mornings. If you’re feeling an inkling of curiosity on what that would involve, or are realizing you have a heart to serve in that area, please email Pastor Charlene.

Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.
