Good morning Westheights,
Last week we mentioned glee over the warm weather, and there was a school snow day for Waterloo Region! So we’re not going to say anything weather related this time… Here’s your announcements for the week!

Young Adults: Project Give & Save the Dates
We hope you can join us this Sunday, April 3rd from 3-5pm for Project Give: Young Adults Edition. Your hands-on help is needed for those whose lives have been disrupted by war and disaster! Come knot quilts, assemble MCC Relief Kits, and reflect on the response of Christ-followers to war, conflict and oppression.

Good Friday and Easter
Mark your calendars, Good Friday and Easter is fast approaching! Our Good Friday service will be Friday, April 15 at 10:30am, and our Easter Service will be at our regular Sunday service time at 10:30am on April 17th.
Like all our services, you will be able to participate through Westheights@home through our Youtube channel if you’re unable to attend in person at Westheights@82.
Community Centre Collection Update
Thank you everyone for helping collect items for the Community Centre! All together we collected:
32 bottles of shampoo & conditioner (14 L)
92 Tooth brushes
90 tubes of toothpaste

Nametag Sundays
Over the month of April, we will be having Nametag Sundays at Westheights@82. It’s a great opportunity to learn some new names (and refresh our memory on others) of people within our church community. We will provide the nametags and pens, you provide the names!
Westheights Kids@82 Registration
To register your kids for Westheights Kids@82, find the event registration link here by Sunday at 8:30AM. Parents, if the small group is full, please use the “wait list” so we know that your child was interested in attending.
Children’s Ministry Intern
This summer we are looking to hire a student that we can be a part of our Children’s Ministry and participate in the BIC Flow program. Click here to see the job description and feel free to send it to any great candidates!
Office Hours
Our office hours are Tuesday-Thursday 10am-3pm. If possible please call ahead in case we’ve stepped out of the portable.
Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.

Grandpa went out for a walk and it started to rain. He didn’t bring an umbrella or a hat. His clothes got soaked, but not a hair on his head was wet. How is this possible? Because he was bald!
