Good morning Westheights,

May there be moments this week where you’re able to stop and marvel at the small wonders.

Riddle of the Week

I have branches, yet I have no leaves, no trunk, and no fruit. What am I?

Holy Spirit Sermon Series: Questions Needed!

It has been said that the Holy Spirit is the least understood member of the Trinity.  In an upcoming sermon series we will seek to bring some clarity to our understanding of who the Holy Spirit is and the role that the Holy Spirit plays in each of our lives (whether we know it or not). A big part of this series will be responding to your questions about the Holy Spirit. Please fill this form out with your questions!

Thank You For Your Generosity!

Over the past few months we have collected items for the community hamper program hosted at the Community Centre. Here are some of the words of thanks that we have received:

  • A woman from Syria said… “It helps us a lot, especially with the high prices. Thank you with love”
  • A woman from Ukraine said…”Thank you so much for the diapers. I am a single mom and struggle a lot”
  • Another woman is very thankful for the hygiene items and said “Bless you with Love”

Last Week’s Riddle Answer

When John was 6 years old, he hammered a nail into his favorite tree to mark his height. Ten years later, at age 16, John returned to see how much higher the nail was. If the tree grew by 5 centimeters each year, how much higher would the nail be?

Answer: The nail would be at the same height since trees grow at their tops.
