Save the date! The Swap & Shop is returning, and we hope you’ll join us! This event will be a great chance to put generosity and simplicity into practice, and maybe get some of your holiday shopping done while you’re at it! It’s pretty great to hold a free garage sale and we hope you’ll join in!
Swap & Shop date: Sun Nov 12th 1-3pm
Item drop off dates: Oct 29th, Nov 5th
What we need from you!
⁃ Donate some items (small household goods, small furniture, games, toys, puzzles – NO clothing please)
⁃ Invite people to donate and attend the swap.
⁃ Attend the swap yourself and see what goodies await!
Over the next couple of months, please look around your house for any gently used items that you no longer need or that you believe someone else could benefit from. We’ll be collecting these items at the church on Oct 29th and Nov 5th before and after service. If you can carry it yourself or with a friend it’s likely a good fit for the swap! No clothing this year, as we’re limiting our goods slightly.
The Swap & Shop event will take place on Sun Nov 12th from 1-3pm, the church building will be open for anyone to come and choose items to take home at no cost. That’s right…no cost!! This is a free event where everything donated can be taken home without needing to pay!
Come join us that day, bring some friends and maybe head home with some items for you or to give as gifts! Any items that aren’t taken home will be donated to Mennonite Central Committee’s thrift stores.
