Jr. High Laser Quest Photos

The Junior High Double Decker event was a smashing success! We ate cookies, we watched great movies, the girls played Apples to Apples, the boys played sardines and each person got in two games of laser tag at the beginning of the night. Laser Quest kindly offered to take some pictures of our group and emailed them to us the next day. We thought we’d share them with you! (more…)

Important Info for Sr. Highs Heading to YouthQuest

If you are planning to come to YouthQuest, you are expected to be involved in our Roast Beef Dinner and silent Senior High Service Auction on Saturday, November 13th. We ask that everyone who is helping out be at the church at 5pm having already eaten dinner (or please bring a brown bag meal to eat between jobs). Snacks will also be served while we decorate, set up tables and prep the food. (more…)
Sr. Highs at Operation Christmas Child Warehouse

On Thursday, November 25th there will be not be the usual youth meeting. Instead we will be meeting at the Operation Christmas Child Warehouse. OCC distributes shoe boxes filled with things like toys, school supplies and hygiene items in order to bless the lives of children living in desperate situations – and we’re excited that we get to be a part of that! Go higher! We’ll be heading to Bingemans on Friday, October 15, 2010 to make use of their high ropes course and rock climbing wall. Climb up as high as you dare while rock climbing or take on the ropes course and travel horizontally two stories in the air – all while safely secured in a harness! (more…)
YouthQuest Fundraising Bake Sales and Supper

The Westheights senior high students will be hosting several fundraisers between now and the end of the year to raise money for YouthQuest 2010.
