I found this to be very interesting. It made me stop and wonder if I was helping to nurture relationship-savvy children or was neglecting the useful life skills associated with relationship building, even in very simple ways. We’re talking about in-person communicating and building real-life relationships with family and peers, as well as online associations. The suggestions apply to young and old alike. (more…)

A Really Good Billboard

As I was driving to see my mother a couple of weeks ago (she had surgery and was in the hospital) just outside of Barrie I noticed that there is a church with a big billboard sign on the side of their building that faces Highway 400 that says “Its all about relationships.”  What a great sign.  It is so true. If I were to summarize the whole Bible in one word, it would be “relationship”. Fear Hurts Relationships

On Sunday, someone told me a story of something that happened in their life and they said at the end of their story, “Fear is something that is very damaging to relationships.” I agreed with them.
