The Brethren in Christ Canadian Conference will be holding a Kitchener-Waterloo Region Town Hall meeting on Thursday, February 16th at Rosebank BIC Church for Pastoral/Church Staff, Church Board members, deacons, Canadian and General Conference delegates, and anyone else interested. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm and conclude by 9:00 pm. Light refreshments and coffee/tea will be enjoyed.
This is an evening of interaction with BIC Canadian Conference leaders. Some of the points of engagement will be:
- The developing vision of the BIC in Canada
- Our new strategic initiatives
- New ministry plans and activities in church planting, global ministries, leadership development
- Moving to a new fraternal relationship between the Canadian and American BIC Churches
The following was included in a note from the Canadian Director, Darrell Winger: “We think this will be helpful for understanding, dialogue, and celebration across our BIC community. As well, this time is good preparation for our May 5th Annual General Meeting and the General Conference this July.”
