Thanks to everyone who donated health kit items for MCC, and to all who stayed after last Sunday’s worship service to participate in Project Give. We assembled 95 complete health kits! These health kits will be presented to children living in refugee camps who do not have access to hygiene supplies. We had some remaining supplies which were divided to go to:

1) Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) for their health kits.

2) Nicaragua with our short-term missions team.

Also at Project Give, we knotted two comforters which will go to either hospitals, refugee camps, orphanages, or other locations experiencing disasters. We made cheery Christmas cards for the inmates at the Grand Valley Institution for Women. And, finally, our younger children made gifts for the residents of the Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, next door to the church.

Our timing was perfect for the collection and assembly of the health kits. Just this week MCC sent out an urgent plea for 10,000 health kits. Click here to learn more.
