A young family at Westheights is in need of our support during a difficult time. They have two young children, with a third child on the way. Last week the wife fell and sprained both her ankles. Due to complications with her pregnancy, her physician has told her that she must stay in bed and that her ankles will not begin to heal properly until after the baby is born in mid-December.

We want to reach out and help this family in a variety of ways, as needed. This young mother will be in constant pain until her baby is born. Please pray that she will not fall again, and that the Lord will strengthen her as she faces 24/7 pain.

As well, we will be providing meals for this family until mid-December so we need lots of help! Contact Mimi at the church office at office@westheights.org or phone 519-741-1986 (ext. 0) if you are willing to provide a meal or two.

This is an opportunity for us to put our faith into action and reach out to a family in need. Your generosity and compassion are much appreciated by this family. Thank you for stepping up and helping!

“If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if His love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends … Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.” (Philippians 2:4, The Message)
