On Saturday, April 25, we’ll be showing our neighbours the love of God in practical ways. There are two ways to be involved this year:

OPTION 1: OUTDOOR

Project Serve 17We’ll be getting our hands dirty in our community, spreading the love of God. Sign up this Sunday to be part of this practical application of loving our neighbours. Bring your rakes, shovels, gloves and rubber boots, and let’s get working!

There are two shifts to choose from; you can sign up to help from either 9:00am – noon or from 1:00-4:00pm (or both!). Meet in the Westheights foyer, and then head out from there in teams to pre-arranged locations.

Last year everyone involved seemed to have a blast. We’d love for this year’s event to be even bigger, so be sure to sign up! If you would like to help out, email Todd Lester or sign up in the Westheights foyer.

All ages welcome.

OPTION 2: SPA DAY

Project Serve 11Let’s pamper the residents at Forest Heights Long-Term Care Centre (right next door to the church) with facials, massages, manicures and tea! We’ll meet in the Westheights foyer at 9:30am and head over together, wrapping up at noon. RSVP to Charlene Neuman if you would like to be involved.

This project is suitable for kids in Grade 2 and up! Kids in Grades 2-5 should attend accompanied by an adult. What a great way to meet some residents before Westheights Kids heads over to lead a service the next morning, April 26th!

As a thank you to the many volunteers, a BBQ lunch will be provided to everyone involved at noon at the church.
