We send our deepest condolences to Mary Jane Winger whose father, Richard James Pike, passed away suddenly this Wednesday, February 10, 2016. May God comfort the Winger and Pike families as they mourn the passing of a beloved family member.

RICHARD JAMES PIKE “Richie” passed away suddenly at his home in Harriston on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Jackson) Pike. Dear father of Catherine and Stan Sutter of Stanton Island, NY, Mary Jane and Doug Winger of Kitchener and Kevin and Sybil Pike of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Carissa and Curtis Campbell and Courtney Sutter; Joshua, Jenna and David Winger; Adelaide and Daniel Pike. Great grandfather of Caeris Campbell. Brother of Ken and Inez Pike of Listowel and Phyllis and Terry Richardson of Minto, Brother-in-law of Barbara and Phil Kovacs of Orangeville and Bruce and Carol Anne Jackson of Clifford. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his two sisters Evelyn and Joanna. To honour Richie’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Richie’s life will take place at a later date and will be announced at that time. As expressions of sympathy donations the Clifford Community Church or Carrick Camp would be appreciated by the family.
Richie was a collector of hit and miss antique engines and antique John Deere tractors. He loved restoring these and showing them at steam shows around Ontario. Richie lived out his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in his participation at Clifford Community Church and member of the board of Carrick Camp. 1 John 3:23, “That we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ…”
