With Christmas rapidly approaching, let’s take time to reflect on the year that is ending and look forward to what God has in store for us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus.
Celebrating the Advent season is significant. For centuries the Christian church has prepared for and reflected upon the meaning of this beautiful season. Our vision is that, across BIC Canada, from rural prairie homes to downtown Toronto apartments, to the Jelly Bean homes of St. John’s, NL, individuals and families will worship together as one body of faith. Advent Devotional Book “20 Days of Gifts Beyond Expectation” is designed to unwrap the gifts of Christ, and encourage us to share them around the world. This devotional book covers 20 days, from Monday, Nov. 28 to Friday, Dec. 23, with a weekly family activity and carol. Each meditation is short and focused on scripture, thinking, acting and praying. We encourage you to select a regular, convenient time and use these devotions to enhance your Christmas preparation.
