One of the things that I truly appreciate about our denominational family is the opportunities are provided to ministry leaders to learn and grow. Recently our staff attended two fantastic sessions that our denomination (Be In Christ) facilitated for all Canadian ministry staff. The theme of this day was Racism & Social Justice. As a staff team, we found both of these sessions to be interesting, challenging, and thought-provoking and we wanted to share it with our Westheights church family. Advent Devotionals
Advent is a season where we prepare our hearts to celebrate the coming of Jesus. This year the first Sunday of advent is Nov 29th. As we enter the Christmas season, we want to encourage each of us to follow along with the advent devotional guide put out by BIC Canada. You can find a digital version by clicking this link. Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.
