This Sunday we celebrate our anniversary. Despite it being a “different” sort of year, we can celebrate how God is at work in our church family.
As a part of our anniversary celebration, the Board is encouraging us to consider directing our Anniversary offering towards the House of Friendship. House of Friendship is a local charity that is doing great work meeting the needs of our Region. Click here to be directed to our Canada Helps donation page!
Advent
If there was ever a year when we needed the hope of Christmas, this might be the year. With this in mind, we shared a blog post this week about a few things that we have going on this Advent season. If you missed it, you can check it out here. Remember, daily Advent readings begin next Sunday.
Virtual AGM
Our 2019 AGM will be on Sunday, November 29 at 6:30pm. Click here for more details. This year this meeting will be virtual using Zoom. We will email the zoom link later this week.
Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.
Virtual Foyer
This Sunday we are once again having a virtual foyer by using Zoom so that we can see and say ‘hi” to one another after the service. To join in right after this Sunday’s service, simply click this link. If you aren’t set up with Zoom yet, we recommend that you click on the link and set things up before Sunday.
