Happy Friday, Westheights!
As I process the events of this week, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 has come to mind: “…give thanks in all circumstances…” Indeed, in a week that has felt uncertain and in flux, something that has been good for my heart has been to slow down and name the things in my life that I am thankful for and to offer my gratitude to God. The funny thing is that when I do this, I receive a sense of perspective that is refreshing. As we wrap up this week, what are a few of the things that you are thankful for?

The Community Centre Collection
We recently began collecting items to be distributed by the Forest Heights Community Centre. This month, we will be asking you to consider purchasing: 1) adult diapers, 2) handsoap, 3) shampoo/conditioner, or 4) baby wipes. Donations can be left in the bin located on the ramp to the church office. The last day for collection is April 18th.
After-Service Prayer Time – April 18
We are planning a time of prayer following our service on Sunday, April 18. More information can be found on our blog.
Tax-Receipts
Tax receipts were sent out at the end of February. If you have not received yours, please let us know ASAP by emailing office@westheights.org.
Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.
Virtual Foyer
This Sunday we are once again having a virtual foyer by using Zoom so that we can see and say ‘hi” to one another after the service. To join in right after this Sunday’s service, simply click this link.
