Happy Friday Westheights!
This week Matt Vicent will be our guest speaker during our Sunday teaching time. Matt is the Team Leader for Reunion with the Be In Christ Church of Canada. Matt’s work and dream is to see new, creative and healthy expressions of spiritual communities be planted in every major city across Canada. He loves the process of imagining, discerning, listening, and taking adventurous steps in following Jesus with others.
The Community Centre Collection
We recently began collecting items to be distributed by the Forest Heights Community Centre. This month, we will be asking you to consider purchasing: 1) adult diapers, 2) handsoap, 3) shampoo/conditioner, or 4) baby wipes. Donations can be left in the bin located on the ramp to the church office. The last day for collection is April 18th.
After-Service Prayer Time – April 18
We are planning a time of prayer following our service on Sunday, April 18. More information can be found on our blog.
Tax-Receipts
Tax receipts were sent out at the end of February. If you have not received yours, please let us know ASAP by emailing office@westheights.org.
BIC AGM – Date Changed
In light of the current pandemic situation, the Be In Christ Church of Canada has made the decision to postpone its online Annual General Meeting which was to be held on Saturday April 24th at 10 am and move it to a new date. Accordingly, the AGM will now be held on Sunday evening, May 30, 2021 at 6 pm.
Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.
Virtual Foyer
This Sunday we are once again having a virtual foyer by using Zoom so that we can see and say ‘hi” to one another after the service. To join in right after this Sunday’s service, simply click this link.
