Good morning Westheights,

Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter! It’s one of our main ways to communicate everything going on in Westheights.

Joke of the Week

What is the best part about Switzerland?

While you think on the answer, here’s some weekly announcements!

Reset Retreat

Join us in-person or virtually March 6-7, 2022 for a chance to Reset during this weary season. 82 Westheights Dr. will be open from 2pm-2pm for anyone needing a space to come for a few hours to reflect, breathe, pray, or just be still. Stations to encourage contemplative practices will be available for anyone to go through at their own pace.

Want a reminder closer to the event and/or not able to come in person? Fill this form out so we can remind you a few days beforehand and/or so we  can send you virtual materials to participate from home.  Have questions? Email reset@westheights.org

Covid Update – In-Person Services

In case you missed it, read the letter from Pastor Josh on behalf of the board. This past week the Westheights Board met and the decision was made that we will resume in-person ministries as follows:

  • Sunday Services – March 6
  • Student Ministries – March 10
  • Children’s Ministries – March 13

For Sunday Services we will continue to provide the online Westheights@Home option on Youtube. Virtual Foyer will be discontinued indefinitely. Thank you for everyone who jumped onto the zoom calls!

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jeff Willmer – Board Chair or Josh Mutter – Lead Pastor.

Kindness Initiative

For everyone who is a part of Kindness Initiative, don’t forget to send something to your person!

Response to Crisis In Ukraine

MCC will be responding to the crisis in Ukraine through its local partners. Russian military forces have invaded the country with missiles striking major cities and casualties continuing to grow. Your prayers and donations will help partners scale up their work providing relief and trauma healing for vulnerable and displaced people. “Ukraine is experiencing major upheaval, but our partners have supplies ready to help vulnerable and displaced people,” says Rebecca Hessenauer, MCC representative for Ukraine. Donate today at mcccanada.ca/ukraine.

Church Office

Church Office is now open again! Tuesday-Thursday 10am-3pm.

Job Posting
