Outdoor Activities
“Do you enjoy getting outside – walking, biking, hiking, etcetera? Think it would be fun to periodically get together with other people from Westheights who also like getting outside? Fill out this form here and Malcolm van Raalte will get those who are interested organized. Those under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.”
Mennonite World Conference Glocal Watch Parties
Did you know that as part of the BIC denomination we are part of the Mennonite World Conference? Check out the announcement here from the KW planning committee with details on “glocal watch parties”.
Westheights Student Ministries Summer Fun
What? Active games & campfire
When? Thursday July 14, 6:30-8:30PM
Where? The Jantzi’s (2277 Moser-Young Road, St Clements, ON N0B 2M0)
Who? Students who are in grades 6-12 (starting in Sept 2022)
Details
- Wear running shoes, bug spray and bring a water bottle
- We will supply marshmallows and hotdogs for roasting
- Transportation is not provided

Westheights Weekly Email Newsletter Changes A-Coming
As we look at our online communication processes as a church, we’re working on improving our newsletter and what shows up in your email inbox.
Starting July 3rd, these emails will be merged into one Westheights Newsletter. Sundays at 6am, you can look forward to one email that will share our Westheights Youtube Channel Link, Latest News, Special Events, etc. This will not affect the Students & Kids Ministry newsletters.

Spring News From the Board

Celebrating the Ordination of Shannon Cook
In our service this Sunday June 26th we have the privilege of witnessing and celebrating the ordination of Shannon Cook. Shannon is the Chaplain at Forest Heights Long Term Care and has recently received credentials from the Be In Christ Church of Canada. Shannon has been attending Westheights since the fall of 2021.

Office Hours
Our office hours are Tuesday-Thursday 10am-3pm. If possible please call ahead in case we’ve stepped out of the portable.
Prayer Requests
If you would have something that you would like us to pray for, email your prayer request to prayerrequest@westheights.org. Prayer requests will be forwarded to Westheights folks who have expressed a desire to support us in prayer. If you would like to receive these prayer requests please email office@westheights.org and we will add you to the distribution list.
