Merry Christmas Westheights!

Believe it or not, the first Sunday of Advent is right around the corner on November 27th. With this in mind we wanted to make sure we let you in on a few things that you won’t want to miss out on this Christmas season.

Advent Devotionals – The BIC has once again produced an excellent Advent Devotional for us. Starting on Monday November 28, these daily readings will invite us to reflect on the significance of the season and prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus. You can access a digital or printable version of the Advent Devotional by clicking here. There will be a limited supply of hardcopy versions available in the church foyer starting on November 20.

Christmas “C” Kick-off – Join us as we kick off this Christmas season! Sunday, November 27th at 6pm, come to Westheights Church for some Christmasy (or rather Christmas “C”) fun. We will gather to sing Christmas Carols together, Chuckle and Connect, drink some Cider, maybe eat a couple Cookies.  Click here for more details.

Holiday Swap & Shop – Sunday December 4th will be the first ever Westheights Holiday Swap & Shop! This event will be a great chance to put generosity and simplicity into practice, and maybe get some of your holiday shopping done while you’re at it! Click here for more details.

Practicing Generosity – At this time of year, many of us are looking to give gifts that make a difference in the lives of those in need. Check out the BIC Global Giving Guide or the MCC Giving Guide for opportunities to help people around the world this Christmas.

Christmas Eve Services – This year we are excited to be offering Christmas Eve services both in-person and online on Dec 23 at 7pm and Dec 24 at 4pm & 7pm. If you are inviting a friend, feel free to share christmas.westheights.org!

No Service on December 25th – Lastly, with Christmas day falling on a Sunday this year, we have decided that we will not be having a Sunday service on December 25th. We hope that on Christmas day you will find a moment or two to experience the hope, love, joy and peace of Christmas.
