Hello parents of children in SK through grade 8! Please remember to get permission forms in ASAP for the Sunday service at the Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre! We’re heading over on Sunday, December 4th and while rehearsals are already underway it’s not too late to get involved in a special way.
This will be an amazing opportunity for the children at Westheights to be ministers and to be ministered to by the residents at FHLTCC. We are looking forward to once again connecting with our neighbours and to caring for and getting to know those who are sometimes marginalized by us as a community at large. This is a chance to be Christ-followers together, worship together, minister to one another and help each-other to grow closer to God – intergenerationally!
Your children are so gifted in so many ways, and have the God-given capacity to really impact our neighbours next door. Please get permission forms in to Charlene Neuman or Gillian Fenske as soon as possible so they will be able to participate!
Note to Junior High parents: We are expecting all Junior Highs to attend and be part of the service. There will be no alternative Jr. High class that morning. Anyone who does not join us at FHLTCC is invited to join the Sunday service at Westheights. We will be practicing on Sunday mornings – at times during the service and at times after the service if possible.
