Hey Senior Highs! We will be continuing our new tradition of a meal EVERY Thursday night at 6:30pm. So far we’ve eaten spaghetti, homemade pizza, tacos, chili, pancakes and hamburgers together… and you have provided a number of delicious side dishes and desserts! Please don’t forget to sign up to let us know what you’ll be contributing.

We really need everyone to step up and put their name down for ONE THURSDAY PER MONTH. We have several people who have been bringing something multiple weeks already, and we don’t want to take advantage of their kindness. As well, we want these meals to be a communally run thing… by bringing a side or dessert, you are taking part in our community and serving one another. Whatever you bring doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive… it doesn’t have to be something you made yourself.

In order to sign up, visit PerfectPotluck.com. Sign-up forms are currently posted there through the end of December. To view them and to sign up, search for Coordinator Last Name ‘Fenske’ and Password ‘WSM’.

As well, we are looking for parents who are willing to come early on Thursday nights to help with dishes. Coming at around 8:00pm to get things started would be a tremendous help, and allow the leaders who usually wash dishes to spend that extra time with the students.

Senior High Thursday nights take place from 6:30-8:30pm at Westheights. We hope to see you (and your appetite!) there.

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”
(Acts 2: 42-47)
