Congrats!
0Congrats to our On Your Mark! kids as well as the Jr and Sr High students for leading their 5th Sunday service on December 4th!
About 50 kids made the trek through the parking lot to encourage our neighbours at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre–where they ushered, led songs and prayers, read Scriptures, delivered short sermons, played instruments, danced, mimed, and shared their energy and love for music, worship and Jesus!…The residents were grateful to receive the crafts the SK-Grade 5 children had made, and the warm “hellos” that came with them as they were distributed… (more…)
Ministry Field Trip on Sunday
0Parents of kids in SK through Grade 8, don’t forget to drop yours off ready to shine and serve between 9:15 and 9:30am this coming Sunday! We’ll be doing a final run-through of the order for the service we’re preparing for the residents of Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre before we head next door at about 10:20. FHLTCC Rehearsal Schedule and Event Details
1Rehearsals for our 5th Sunday of service leading at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre are underway, and the SK-Grade 8′s are eagerly practising their parts. We’re nodding our heads in I-should-have-known wonder as we watch the kids sing, act, read, dance, play and write prayers and sermons–exploring their gifts and learning how to use them to worship and inspire!

0Sign up now for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region’s 2011 Thanksgiving Food Drive Bag Handout!
The Food Bank is looking for volunteers to help hand out food drive bags at local grocery stores in Kitchener and Waterloo. Shifts are 2 hours in length. There are 2 volunteers per entrance needed (depending on the store). You can volunteer with a friend, brother, sister or parent. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together.
