The weather finally cooperated and we were able to enjoy a great time this past Saturday at our annual Corn Roast.

New this year, the proceeds from our baked goods silent auction went toward our Nicaragua partnership. And, for the brave, there was a bush walk where we were introduced to wild Snapdragons which have seed heads that snap or pop when pinched; thanks to a group of enthusiastic “poppers,” the Jantzis will have a profusion of wild snapdragons next summer!

Thanks to Jen and Chris King and Cindy and Jason Jantzi for pulling together such a fun event. We even had a visit from Miss Corn!
